This logo and packaging were done for a luxury soap brand. 
To give it a more organic and luxurious touch, the logo was inspired by the famous mandalas from Thangka paintings, and the motif was inspired by the architecture of the Buddhist Monastery.

Buddhists use mandalas as aids for meditation. Both, making a mandala and gazing at one are regarded as forms of meditation. 
The lotus is often understood as a symbol of spiritual purity. The blooming of a lotus is said to mimic the Buddhist eightfold path- it grows from the mud (the cycle of life), it appears clean on the surface and floats above the mud (purification), before finally producing a beautiful flower(enlightenment).
